Anushka Maria is a current student at Cleveland State University doing her second masters in Executive Business Administration. She has worked previously as a research assistant at Cleveland State and Case Western University, as a grant compliance assistant at the Cuyahoga Land Bank and as a Juvenile Justice Coordinator for Youth for Christ Cleveland. She attained both her bachelors in Speech Pathology and her Masters in Non-profit management from Cleveland State University.

Anushka has extensive experience in grant management and grant writing both through her research work at the universities and through her time at the Cuyahoga Land Bank. Her graduate thesis was on Strategic Management in Ohio’s Public Education System, and she is passionate about improving access to education particularly in areas of low – socioeconomic status. Anushka is also a consultant for various Non-profits based in Cleveland and has worked with Youth for Christ, Women of Hope, David’s Challenge and Funtec.

Anushka is originally from Tamil Nadu, India and is based in Cleveland, Ohio. She serves in the Justice and Mercy team in City Church Cleveland Heights and volunteers at Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center in Quincy every Thursday.
